Anyone deal with Jon B at the partsrack? I called him friday to ask about this viper engine controller that is supposed to work to free up HP and TQ under 3 grand. He kept on telling me to call him back 15 mintues later. So about the 4th or 5th phonecall I finally get him.

When I ask him about the part he basically just says that the Viper guys are loyal to him, the Ram guys are not. WTF - OK. So he lets me go saying he didn't have time to talk about the part unless I'm a customer. I told him I'm trying to find out more about it before I just blindly order it. Anyway he's having none of it - do i want to order now??? I let him go cause I want to make sure its what I'm looking for.

Well come to find out the damn part won't even work. Its for the Viper computer which is completely different than the Ram computer. Not exactly a good experience with this joker.

He provides outstanding service and the best or near the best pricing for all Viper related products.

He is a Viper expert. For Vipers his service is the same as Woodhouse, etc. Great!

I have my own business too and would never deal with anyone like that. Theres a word for it, rude. You may have a different experience. To me the customer service was terrible and the expertise not there either.

I'd say it's pretty clear why Ram guys are not loyal to him. We don't worship him and he doesn't know jack about these trucks. This is a SRT-10 Ram truck forum so he gets what he gets. We don't all have Vipers so he will be nice to us. Maybe my name calling was a little over the top but it is from my own personnal experience.

Our opinion of someone is our god given right as is yours. It makes us no less of a person educated or not to express it as I/we see fit. There is a reason why we have such words i.e. *******, dickhead, ****stick. Next time you decide to make a “I’m superior because I don’t have a potty mouth statement” look in the mirror and you’ll see why those words exists.

He confirmed the following:

His business is Viper focused and did not have time to research the Ram SRT10 information the called wanted, The caller had contacted Tom Sessions first who could not answer the questions and suggest he call JonB.

Both Tom and JonB are known to be Viper experts who provide outstanding service.

Not that RAM owners are un-loyal to him(wonder why?), that is childish and uncalled for. You can create or destroy a business based on reputation. Maybe taking the time to talk to a RAM guy, who may or may not buy something, would open a world of doors for this guy and his company. Maybe he doesn't want that and that is his choice, just like it is the members of this forums choice to voice their displeasure with him. I was born and lived most of my life in Jersey so the language makes me feel at home. Bottom line, I wouldn't do business with him. That's my 2 cents, your mileage may vary.

Very well said. If he had a clue how to run a business. Then he would realize when you start to LOOSE business, your business isn't be a successful as it could be. Hire someone, automate something. There isn't that many vipers out there. Bill P handles Viper Trucks and Cars, and always has time for any customer. I'll say it again as I like the word, he is definately a ****stick.

Haha..not exactly what happened at all my friend. I wanted to find out what it does and whether it would work and how much it was. If he had any answers - or time he would have actually got the sale. He said that it did work - not that he didn't know. He said that Viper guys are loyal to him and the Ram folks shop him for price and he didn't want to talk unless it was ordered at that time. I said I needed to speak with Tom Sessions. If I had listened to the guy I would have a problem. I found the guy just plain plain rude and not too knowledgable for us no matter how you slice it. This is my last post in this thread.
