Just curious. All the dealers who ebay show 7/70 powertrain warranty. Did it change in '05 or are they not informed or just plain stupid? Thought it was 3/36 powertrain. It gets frustrating to be mislead.

Now I'm confused.

The 05 only has 3/36 powertrain and it's listed as a 03/04 in the warranty section.

The 04 does have the 7/70 powertrain w/$100 deductable and listed as 04/05. The powertrain warranty is transferable.

The 03 also has the 7/70 powertrain w/$100 deductable and listed as 03/04. The powertrain warranty is NOT transferable.

I think that the 05's are too new for Chrysler's system at this time. Maybe a sold 05 VIN will show something different.

BIll P. can you give us any more info on this?

My '04 SRT came with a 3/36K warranty. The Viper is the same. The rest of the Dodge line is 7/70K. At least that is what I was told at the time I purchased. i trust my dealer. Have bought 9 vehicles from them. They treat me fantastic. However, there are a very few misleading/ plain stupid dealers out there who will say anything for a sale and that don't have a clue on these. I did buy an extended warranty which is 5/70K but I don't intend on voiding my warranty so this was wise for me to do. At least I think it was.

WOW, I hope you got a kiss with that $70K.

I paid $44K for mine, $2.5K under MSRP in July.
