ok, got the 500 out of the way
let her rip it shifts at about 5300 rpm though red line is higher. is ther a reason for this? i saw tomatoes posts about adjusting the cable...those with 6spd, do you notice a strong pull to red line, or no? i could adjust cable to try to get full rpm. hmmm, does that cable adjustment still work when under WOT?
any thoughts?

I wouldn't change it. Most of these engines start dropping HP after 5300 RPM!!

Yeah I have noticed the same thing, Marc. I wouldn't fool with it!

Might be worth it to somehow get those extra 200-300 RPMs so when the auto trans shifts, it drops in a better RPM range. I shift my 6spd at 5500-5600rpm and I like where it drops in RPM in the next gear.
