Received a nice looking brochure today highlighting the srt-10. they mention the infinity stereo system, but what i find odd is this quote "12 speakers including a 10" subwoofer", but if the subwoofer is included it should be an odd number of speakers. so, is it 12 speakers plus the subwoofer?

As I just said on the "other" SRT-10 Site... Who cares about 10 12 or 50 speakers, we should be wanting to hear 500+ h.p.!!! and damn vehicle can be loaded up with speakers....

Sanchoba, I certainly did not mean to rock your boat !! Point was how many speakers does a regular cab pick-up really need?? Being the ole fart that I am 4 would probably be fine... But hey, thats why they make differant colors right?? Each to their own.... Have a Happy New Year and I hope we all get our trucks soon...

There probably won't be as many speakers as you think. What us ole farts would call a single 3-way speaker, Dodge would call 3 speakers.

Any additional information on status of some of the orders? I would also ask, if I may, how often you can get information to update the status on our VON's.

I'm nearly 60 yrs. old, have owned six Corvettes, a Buick Grand National and numerous hot rods, ....and have never been so darn excited about obtaining a new pickup truck. This one is going to be a keeper....!

I know that the SRT-10 VIPER will come in white this year, not sure on the Ram, gonna have to wait awhile for that news.

If it's anything like a home theater system, the sub is not considered a speaker, but it's own seperate entity. Home theater calls their speaker setups as 5.1.
It breaks down as 5 speakers(2 fronts, center & 2 rear) & the .1 is the subwoofer.
