Just wanted to share a little story about an encounter with my service department today. I have three Rams including the SRT. I was told to bring them in today to replace the redesigned door weatherstripping. I took the QC then the Rumblebee up first saving the best for last. Well, The SRT shows up and I watched it like a hawk as the car jockey drove it off. I didn't see it enter the shop door so I went outside. I see it going around the building past the door. Then it comes by again and it pulls in to the shop. He doesn't pull into a bay though. He gets out and says something to somebody. I watch him get back into it and pull away. Around the building one more time. Ok, now I'm mad. It comes by again and starts to pull into a service bay. I'm standing by the door now as I see the mechanic throw his arms up and tells the dumbass to STOP!!!! He backs up and gets it in the bay this time then gets out to look at the front of the truck. Several others come by and take a look then the shop foreman comes down and looks and he and dunbass walk off towards the waiting area.. I go look and see a huge scratch on the lower half of the front bumper. I furious now. The service writer finds me and tells me the floor lift caught it and they would take it to the body shop and find out what it would take to fix it. I told him that they had three other SRT's there in the same color and to exchange bumpers from the one of my choosing. I was told that they would just repaint it and everything would be just fine. I said get the owner then upon I was told it would take about an hour to change the bumpers. It looks GREAT and dumbass is unemployed tonight. Thanks for listening. I feels so much better now. :D

Why would a vehicle need to go on a lift to replace door seals?
Is the service tech 11' tall? Do the seals need a certain altitude before they attach correctly?

I'm not questioning you, Droopy.
I'm questioning MonkeyBoy and Captain ServiceMgr.

Glad to hear it worked out.

So this is how they treat somebody whom bought 3 Rams!!!!!Some days people just seem to test our ability at restraint by not handing out some serious beatings! What a moron, absolutly no excuse for that. Great job on getting what you wanted out of the bad situation.

Hey! Without those dumbasses, myself, as well as cops, wouldn't have a job. Gotta love em.

Do you guys think you could live with someone who has been DEAD for TWO WEEKS? I can't make this stuff up if I tried, but it's a true story.

LONG LIVE THE DUMBASSES!! :D

I have had a similar situation with a Corvette several years ago. After that nightmare, I now meet with the service manager prior to any work and stay present for the work to be done...still get nervous! I already met the local dealer's manager for my first Ram SRT 10 oil change.

Before you read any farther... OFF TOPIC!! That's why I didn't elaborate earlier.

Last week we had a guy who had been dead for two weeks inside his house. His brother was there when we showed up. We asked him when was the last time you talked to him, he said about two weeks ago. We asked where do you live? He said, "here." HE SAID, "HERE!!!" He (and, come to find out later, another brother) and his now dead brother, all lived in the same house!!!!

Recap: This guy and another brother have been living in the same house with their dead brother for two weeks. How f'd up is that?!

Do you guys know how bad a dead person smells after a couple of day, let alone two f'n weeks.

ON TOPIC...The guy in the service department was dumb, but these two geniuses were f'n phenominally stupid.

That's all. I wasn't going to bore you, but you asked.

Just thought of something... some of you may find this post offensive. Not to be rude, but I don't care. Unfortunatley this is stuff happens more than you think. If any of you would like to "ride out" (that's means come and hang out and take runs with us) the door is always open. It doesn't take long to find out for yourself... and if you think I'm messed up. You're in for a big surprise.

Damb this is long. Sorry.

I know what your talking about. I gotta friend in the bay area that has been a paramedic firefighter for almost 20 years and he has the most wicked stories.

So yes the service guy is just a moron but those brothers are about as dead as their dead brother. Nobody could ignore the stench of a body rotting in the house, nobody!!!!
