I started this thread to continue from the line lock thread http://srt10forum.com/showthread.php?t=739 regarding the Raptor Performance shift light

since you have a shift light, how are your times coming along?

I have never raced the truck at a track yet. I can say that having the light keeps my shifts much more consistent. It's the launch that will determine the outcome for me.

fstjack - I'm looking forward to those pics of your gauges.

OK so help me understand here. Do you program the light as to when to come on and tell you to shift? Or does it know when peak hp is and tells you to shift? I have dragged before just never with a shift light.

TIA

I believe it works off RPM.. You set it to go off at a specific RPM for the SRT 10 it would be 5200 to 5500 rpm. How much does the system cost?

At this point with no NOS and normally asperated I have my shift light set at 5800 RPM. I can shift at this RPM and not get into the revlimiter.

Like Titan said, it's triggered by rpm. You select what rpm you want the light to come on at. The range is 1000-9900 and anywhere in-between by 100 rpm increments. Mine is set the same as fstjack's at 5800. Red, yellow and green led lights are $85 and the blue led's are $110. http://www.raptorperformance.com/
