but then again, santa monica is high budget...I used to live in Riverside,,,until my company offered me a job here in washtn, R&D group..engineering...I miss a real beach..but i do like the 4 seasons we get here..been here now 2.5 years...love it. was hoping to meet BigFoot, found out he was a hoax,,,so i guess I will have to settle for The Big Show, WWF (wrestling). I saw a ferrari Meralano (not sure of the spelling) a couple of days ago,,,could not catch up...too much traffic...shucks...it would have been fun!

Filled up last night at 1.83/ gallon for 94 octane. I usually get my gas on Wednesdays or Sundays, because there is a Marathon station right arond the corner that sell their premium for the same price as midgrade on those days. It's a hell of a deal. I've been paying 1.80's for about a month now. I said it before, and I'll say it again... gotta love the mid west.

Shell Optimax 98-100 octane

Try 4 per gallon.........thats £££££`s per gallon @ $1.90 = £1, only $7-8!!!!
There`s cheaper, but this stuffs the best.
Currently seems to average 10-12 mpg. Anything with that fuel mpg has gotto be fun!!!

FST, could not get close enuff to see the driver...but if it was, he has eluded me again...
the highest octane i can get here is 92...do any of the 'octane additives' work?-- or create buildup and cause damage? I remember STP years ago...heh heh heh..

When i used to work in Cerritos Ca for the company I work for now, one of the guys had just purchased a new 2002 yellow corvette zo-6 and was telling me about a Texaco station that sold very high octane (don't remember the the grade number) but they charged about $5.75 per gallon...
the corvette owner said he could tell a BIG difference in how the car responded. of course he did not fill the tank. he got $30.00 worth and had fun for a while.

Dean, at your petrol prices, do you get to eat three square meals a day?
Holy Smokem, $7-8...your rig, is it a daily driver or just the weekends?

Petrol ££££££££££££

Gas price here in the UK is a major runing cost. The truck is only a weekend toy really. I`ll average 5000 miles a year with it. Get to drive several other more fuel effiecent vehicles....like a 44 tonne (97000lbs) big rig that returns 9 -10mpg average loaded ! As you can see the SRT was`nt purchased for it economy!
I`m hopping for some gas coupons for Christmas, least thats what I`m asking for !

The BP just down the street from my shop has Amoco Ultimate (the best IMO) for $1.98 per gal. Sure its that low now, because today I had to put my "10" away for the winter. Iam already starting to tear up. I hope I can make it throught the whole winter. Damn I think Iam getting the shakes. [email protected]&*^ snow.
