Drunk driver hit it after the Super Bowl -- thank God it was parked and empty. If it gets fixed it will be for sale.

That just Sucks for the truck & your plans. But nobody got hurt, and as hard as it is to say, it's a piece of metal that can be replaced (not to easily) but can be. Good luck and I hope you get a replacement. and the SOB gets nailed hard.

regardless what you drive, that would SUCK!
I know what I'd be doing to that drunk driver
You will have value lost, so make sure you get his company to pay for what the vehicle is going for now, as you won't get anyone to pay you sticker for a wrecked one. Just my opinion, and best of luck.
Insurance

Unfortunately, it appears that he does not have insurance...

Thats just F'in great, he probably does'nt have a pot to piss in either so going after him legaly proably won't get you much, and be drug out in court to long. Good Luck with the outcome.
That makes things tough, but who is your Insurance Carrier?

Holy **** man, that sucks. Hopefully it will all work out for you.

Was it really bad? If so they'll probably just total out the thing. I wonder how much the buy back would be? I could use a V10 for my Dakota. :D
sorry to hear that scot, are you planning on getting another?, scot baldwin
Talk to your agent, and find out if your policy has a loss of value provision. If so , give me a call and I will try and assist you with a letter concerning the market for your truck. This may all be in vain, as many companies no longer will cover the loss in value from a highly prized car/truck.

Best of Luck, and keep us all posted.

sorry to hear about the smash and go that sucks!!!! you say you might be selling the srt 10 lemme know a price when you get it back!
AAAAW MAN THAT PISSES ME OFF! I've had two idiots in the Houston area hit me, while I was dead stopped, and total both cars. I swear if ANYONE so much as bumps my L, I'm gonna be in jail over it! Really sorry to hear about it bud. I was really hoping to meet up with you at the track soon. Hell I just wanted to check the truck out in silver. I should go beat that guys ass for you.
I am sorry to hear about your loss. I got rear-ended twice in my L last year. Not injured and not totalled, but I am STILL fighting with the ladies insurance company. They seem to forget that it was their client who hit me and I should NOT be responsible for any costs.

But that's my sad story... filing on your own, hopefully you will get better coopertion, but definitely get your agent involved... it's your agent who can work for you with your insurance company.
