Hi my name is Eric and i've been reading posts about your trucks....if you dont mind....how many trucks do you own?? You are one lucky guy to own so many...i can only wish that I had enough $$ to buy ONE. But my love for dodge is strong...i've owned a stratus, a dak, now my yellow 4.7. I will continue to buy dodge as long as we have dodge!

Hey, More power to him, Wether he worked hard for it or was just lucky. Eric you never know what the future will bring! I never thought I would be able to have something like this when I was your age!

The Ford GT is on a recall!

Somthing about the A arms breaking.

parked waiting on parts. ford is adimant about not driving. So much so they called, asked for mileage, after I gave it to them, they informed me they would cancel my warranty if I drove it. needless to say I don't really care about the warranty.

Had I been allowed to test drive it prior to purchase I would not have purchased it. It does have the WOW affect on people though. It is a little quicker than a stock SRT10, but it certaintly doesn't have the seat of the pants feel for speed that the srt10 does.

It is for sale, and I'll take $290K for it.

dayum! thats where all the srt10s are at. thats a hell of a lot of horsepower! do you have a stable? i saw in a couple of your pics that you have 5 of them in the driveway. ever get mistaken for an srt10 dealer?

Huh?

Motor Trend tested one and it ran 11.3's at 130+!! IMO, that's more than 'a little quicker' than the SRT.

Why don't you like it?

And NO, I can't afford to buy it from you.

HAHA. Well I might be a little biased and maybe it is John from Hennessey Performances fault, but I expected the GT to perform like the light weight car it is. However after driving the Silver Bullet and seeing what $30K in engine enhancements can do and the way it handles, maybe I was expecting a little more from the $150K car to end all cars. I am so thankful I didn't spend what the majority of folks spent for theirs.

I drove the Porsche GT and it is MUCH quicker, and SOTP feels like it is worth $500K+. Don't get me wrong I like the Ford GT, and it turns heads. I just had higher expectations for it and got disappointed, had I not driven the Silver Bullet then maybe. Then again the Porsche GT spanks both their asses handedly

and I would have been disappointed in the Ford... The video, the commercials, the specs, it just doesn't feel that quick. It does corner unlike anything else I own though.

the porsche is lighter (3000lbs) 605hp V-10, and at least 3x the retail price of the Ford. i saw it listed at 0-124mph in 9.9sec, but can't find 0-60 and 1/4 times and mph to compare it. does it do a 130+mph 1/4?

Did any of you see a picture of a crashed Ford GT on the side of the road in one of the performance magazines? If so, do you know if the crash was related to the recall?
