He says he is from a ranch in Duval County, Texas.

I grow weary from those bashing threads where most of the people posting don't have a clue to what they are talking about.
They still believe all Hemis run high 15's and 16's

Best 1/4mile: [email protected] (spare, tailgate, and tonneau were still on)

that one runs 15's.
He said high 15 and 16's. 15.11 would be low 15's.

With 17 wheels like mine and the tmr mod done your looking at high 14's.

The guy claims he's gonna be on Westheimer in Houston Saturday night. I told him I'd come find him if I have time. I have family and friends coming in town so I don't know if I'll be able to, but will definitely try! He better have his slip with him, I want to see it.

Yes mine ran a 15.11, with 2K miles on the truck, with a passenger in the cab, the tonneau cover, spare tailgate, and a half tank of gas in the tank. Did I mention it was my first run ever on the truck? :) I think I could do a little better with it broken in now, and prepping the truck for racing removing the weight.

I won't put down any blistering times like Hemi777 does, I think I can put down a 14.6 with the wire pulled. Time will tell, need the track to open. :)

Eh Wikdsvt wasn't being overly hostile, hes got a point that there are a lot of hemi's that do indeed run mid 15's, they are usually quad cabs or 4x4s. I've seen a very few quad cabs run 14.9's with the wire pulled and a CAI. However there are more and more hemi's going into the mid 14's with very little modding as people figure them out. It's just like how when the Lightning came out people were saying it could only do 14.6 but now people know them inside and out and can do 13.6 with little trouble. I firmly believe this is the case with the srt-10 too. As people figure them out they will dip into the 12's and it won't take much to make an 11 second truck. :)

Hi guys/gals! I am new to this forum. I have a 03 Hemi 4 door with 20's. Just want to veryify that once they go past the "break in hours", they run pretty good. I ran 15.18 with a home made CAI and the TMR mod. That is with tailgate, spare etc.

Anyway, it took some time before people figured out what could be done to the Hemi, and we are actually still looking for more. When they first came out, the HEMI got a bad name because of the "lack of power" due to the "break in period" the computer was using. So, I think that you SRT guys will need a little time and then things will be gravy!

It's 150 hours. You can check the hours of your truck by pressing and holding the trip odometer for 5 seconds. At first it will show you trip miles, then hours. A dealer may or may not disclose this information for obvious reasons.

So Cal

What's happening , fellow srt owners- new 2 site and am excited about new truck.(obviously) got off rail car in riverside fri. . due to hit my beautiful san diego this week. held out 4 black ,and held out to get mine at MSRP. red and silver are around here but all local dealers have them at 9900 or 10000 even above MSRP. unbelievable!!! Anyway read a couple of days ago about some one around carlsbad raceway with theirs and would welcome any local feedback. or any so cal feedback. also any feedback from anyone with any input regarding being able to "bag" the srt 10. probably risky with that much power but then again i've seen L,s done so thanks- TREV - ****

Well again the break in time pcm program has not been confirmed by anyone yet. Who is your source? I havent heard any inside source say anything about it either.

Also I believe the break in hour pcm program, if its even true, applies only to the hemi. So srt-10 owners are in the clear.

The 150 hours didn't happen on my Hemi. I just went over 150 hours and have a Tazzo that shows no changes in times. I also reset the computer, still nothing. What's different about my truck is that I'm still under 5000 miles, I only have 4300 miles. I'm hoping that maybe you need 150 hours AND 5000 miles. I'd live to wake up and drop a few tenths off the times with no other changes!

It's pretty sad but I've only averaged 25 MPH in the year and 2 months I have owned my Ram! At least I got 12.5 MPG over that time while driving only low speed stop and go. That's pretty good for a 345 hp Quad Cab with 20's!
