Has anyone supercharged a QC? Will the transmission hold up?

I am concerned about the transmission holding up. I sent an inquiry to ATS transmission (they seem to be the favorite of those who hot rod the Cummins Rams which share the same 48re transmission as the QC Rams). I asked about upgrading the QC transmission to handle the HP and torque of a Paxton S/C upgrade. Here is their response:

"Thanks for contacting us. We do build an HD 48RE transmission and our TripleLok (billet triple-clutch) torque converter for these trucks. The shifting can be altered somewhat when the transmission is built, but it is largely governed electronically by the OEM computer. We will be releasing a stand-alone package soon that will allow someone to program exactly where they want the shifts to happen. The tranny is built to our HD specs and is not an issue as far as dyno curves, but the converter is a different story. On the gas units we must use the original converter, and do need to know what the max torque will be and at what RPM in order to custimize stall speed. One your transmission and torque converter arrived at our facility, it would be built and back out to you within a business week. The HD tranny build is 4560.00 (L5 transmission w/ TripleLok torque converter) +shipping. Give me a ring with any questions or to set something up. Matt Bozarth"
