Hey Guys,

I found this site by accident.

I just ordered a Black SRT-10 and just can't get any info from Dodge.

Will the truck be built at Conner Ave. Plant or in Mexico?

Will the truck have 2 separate exhausts or will they be joined to one side?

Will it have the overhead console?

Thanks much,

Richie

i ordered a red one, i 've called the 1-800# several times to check on the status of mine, mine went from BG status (no schedule yet) to D status (firm schedule, dealer allocation and parts available), back to BG!, and i'm not the only one this has happened to! my understanding is it is being built right along side the viper, at their plant (where ever that is). yes, it will have overhead console. it will have a true dual exhaust with four catalytic conv's., and will have dual outlets exiting together from a cutout in the rear bumper. call this # 1-800-992-1997, and give them your VON #, i would be interested in what they say, what was your order date?

Thanks and Thanks

I called that number and they told me the trucks were being built in Mexico not in the Viper plant. I ordered mine 11/23/03. What is a VON # anyway? MY dealer said to expect delivery by mid March, no earlier.

I watched the video stream posted and wondered if anyone called the guy speaking on it: Jim Yetter or a guy named Ed Saenz 248-760-8267 that was posted as the man at PVO Group.

Also January issue Motor Trend has first ride review. They got a silver one to try. Good review

Ritchie,

I called Ed Saenz and we have been playing phone tag due to the holidays. Once I finally get him on the horn, I'm hoping I can get some official DCX reps to post on the forums here and give you guys who have placed an order some more concrete information.
For those of you wondering about the build and status, here is the info on another truck owner on this site (I'll let him step up if he wants to)

Begin Quote:

They shipped her to storage.

Looks like this particular truck is already built out, and is just now waiting in storage.

It will be awsome if they do and I don't think they'll have the problems here that they had at the SRT-4 site. I also noticed links from their MOPAR catalogue to the srtforums and viperclub sites. Maybe you can get this site listed there.

Wow, where did you get the catalog?

Viperclub.org is at least partially owned/controlled by DCX -- Thats why they are very strict. No street kills, etc.

We are not... the SRTforums (literally) runs wild, as you know. I dont think this site will get to that level, I'm not going to have a SOT section here, and it will be run a little bit stricter.
