My son and I just got back from a trip down to INDY for the NHRA US Nationals. We had a great time, on the trip down we got 16.6 MPG (with a LOT of semi trucks in the way), on the way home we took a different route and got 17.1 MPG, this was achieved while going about 80-85 MPH. This is waaaaay better than the MPG that my 96 ram 2500 gets. just thought i would let everyone know. Bill.

Sounds good.I have never gotten that good.On a highway only 128 mile trip I got 15.5 @85mph steady.When I went down to get my tonneau cover put on I go 16.0 at the same speed for 325 miles.

HAHA mine fluctuates from 7.8 - 9.5

I have been getting 15.5 to 16.5 mpg in country driving environment (no stop lights). I use 6th gear quite a bit...not bad for a 5,100 pound animal!!
