If this is what the Lightning leaf springs look like (traction bar pic), I'm not as worried about ours (other pic).
Just beginning to push the throttel hard on my QC :) :) :)
Ok, my tires are big, BUT I am having serius problems launching !
Then I started serching for infos about traction bars and stopped at this thread: The rear spring set up on the QC is NOT like that on the picture posted by 9 sec !!!
Anybody have any suggestion on traction bars for the QC or even maby a complete rear spring setup swap from a RC ???
Thanks, Klaus

Klaus,
You might be able to put on some spring clamps like the Hemi guys are doing.
Being an absolute newbie to high HP trucks I apriciate the advise I get on this bord - thanks !

I have to ask: "spring clamps" - what is that ?

All of the SRT10 QC owners here MUST have the same problem as I have - at least when they get some tires with good traction (bigger like mine or slicks) - am I the first to discover ?

Actually I can se "tire-rub-marks" on my rear wheel fenders - those in front of my rear wheel !!!
That point of my fender is NOT suppose to be rubbed by the tire as the tire/wheel "only" goes up and down - BUT, being only like 1" space between tire and fender, I must assume that the tire/wheel - under heavey acceleration - twist the suspension so much that the rear wheel is being pushed forward !!! :) :) :) ???

Actually the incident took palce racing a 600 RWHP F150 lightning - we drovw side by side :) :) :) - the Ligthning driver was like WOW - what a big truck !!!

I need more help on this suspension issue ... :)

Thanks, Klaus

TTT

Searched for two hours on the www - NO traction bars for the SRT10 QC :(
Called more the five 4x4 companies in the US - NO traction bars for the SRT10 QC :(
Should I really make my own fully adjustable bolt on traction bars ? :)
And offer them to all the racing SRT10 QC owners ? :)

Some company have to consider going in to this market - very littel R&D and the kit could EASELY bring like $500/set - or ?

Thanks, Klaus

http://tinyurl.com/6xfz4 I think is a great start and I am sure the heavy duty version will help with spring wrap! Can't hurt trying them unless you don't like the slow color  they come in. Then again, you can paint them to match!

Mark
Thanks for the advise !
I have talked to every one of the dealers I phoned about them - and yes they will help some, but not enough - I HAVE decided that I want traction bars - period ... :) :) :)
Thanks, Klaus
