Viper Stand alone Controller?

I was speaking with my Viper tech today and he was explaining he had an extra stand alone controller from Viper Days that he was going to try in my truck today. He says the stock ECM has torque mgt to 3000 rpm and this module allows full engine capacity through the whole range. I have to speak with him about it some more. Anyone know about these items?

Nope but I am very interested.
If it's the one in Mopar Catalog, It won't work with Cat Converters

Quick;-)
Might? Come on. You know he will.:D
this might be totally wrong but i was told by the local dealer here in nc that the torque management was on the 05 but not the 04, don't know if thats true or not the dealer has been known to tell you anything
I trust this person explicitly. His name is Tom Sessions and he's a pretty well known Viper Mech out of NC. He tried it out and said it didn't work and through a bunch of codes. I hear there might be a standalone controller out of the competition coupe that might perform the same function - I'll post when i find out.
