I'm rotating my wheels next week and wondered what maximum torque setting should be used for the wheel bolts? I don't want to screw up my disks and I certainly don't want to loose a wheel. Iknow I can check it when I take them off but I thought maybe there was a recommended setting.

130 Lbs

The trucks use 9/16" studs and should be torqued to 130 FT LBS.........Jack

SRT-10 Torque

The SRT-10 PU's have a different set of torque specs for almost everything in the suspension and drivetrain than the normal 1500 series Dodge PU. The Factory shop manual (I have one) states wheel nut torque to be 130 Ft LBS. The specs for front end alignment, ect are very different than regular 1/2 ton PU's. Most service and parts people do not know the difference unless they are told, so be careful. There is a lot of bad or miss information circulating about this vehicle...........Jack

Thanks for the heads up Jack. I was surprised to see that there wasn't a separate tq spec for our trucks in the chart that DC provided. It's good to see their on-line service info matching their shop manuals :rolleyes: (I did find the alignment specs for the SRT though)

GM is just as reliable too :p
