Also post them here! I would like to know also ;)
I am trying to get info on this also. From what I found, SRT-10 owners are in a special class 2 (or 1) so there is a $600 surcharge over the standard pricing. Until I get tot he bottom of this, I purchased drivetrain insurance from geico, my carrier. Covers everything mechanical (even AC) for up to 100,000 for 250 deductable. I am nto concerned about the radio giving out 4 years from now so this might just work for me... It is $100/year

Site

I am also looking for an extended warranty for my YF. At the dealership, they were trying to get 2k for 7yr/50K Max care warranty. They said it was so high because of the surcharge (1000.00) for our trucks. So I contacted Dodge, you can buy the same warranty directly from Daimler Chrysler for $1050.00. I asked about the surcharge and was told that the price was quoted based on my VIN and that was the total price. They will also do a monthly payment plan with no interest for about $20.00 per month if needed.... :) If you want more info, go to the dodge web site under service contracts....

Yep,

I bought the Daimler Chrysler one. 7yr/70,000 miles. I hope I get to use it if needed. ibve done so much to the truck I can see them saying u r outa luck JACK!!

Maybe not though, I now the Viper mechanic well and he tells me if the Mod didn,t break it they will warranty it. It is basically the mechanics call!!
SWEETTT. When I bought my truck used I got it home and had my buddy pull the info only to find out that it had a DC 7/70 bumper to bumper that I didn't even know about. I thought I hit the lotto!

I'm not sure that I would agree.....

All U.S. Ram SRT-10s are 3/36 vehicles - none of them came with the Factory 7/70 Powertrain Coverage.

If your vehicle has a DC Service Contract, that's a great thing, but only if you've received the prior owner's consent to transfer it into your name. The Service Contract is an asset and it has a cancellation value - it doesn't belong to the vehicle, it belongs to the prior owner.

I would suggest you investigate further - if your name does not match the name on file with DC Service Contracts you don't have any coverage.

Good luck - I hope it works out in your favor.

Have a great week.

Your absoutely right. So after I found out I had the owner sign a sheet saying that he sold the remainder of the warrantly also. I then went down to the dealer with a copy of that and $50 bucks to get it changed over into my name.
mods

just to let everybody know. If you mod your truck and something breaks. Unless it is caused by the mod your warranty is still valid. It is illegal for them to refuse to fix it just because you have done something "special" in an unrelated area. As for the mechanic having say so. He has no special powers. You have as much say or more.
I think I paid in the $1400 range from the dealer for the 7 year/ 70,000 warranty. When I traded my hemi in for this truck I was prorated a refund from that 7/70 warranty based on the truck mileage. ANDY
