Can anyone list or direct me to a list of the differences between the 2004 and 2005 RC SRT-10's?

Thanks in advance.

05 has YELLOW :D

resonator on the exaust on the 05s

lower door seals are improved on the 05

The 05 engine uses 0w40 synthetic engine oil

The 05 rear axle uses synthetic gear oil and *I Think* the 04 used non synthetic but someone else can answer that

Can someone (04 owner) email me their VIN # so I can compare the clutch parts to see if there is any difference. And maybe compare other parts as well.

Thanks for the production info...you gave me it previously under "badgerhockey". I figured it was close to the last week of production. No problems with truck although it has been in hibernation since Nov 15th.

Still have not found my password for "badgerhockey"...any help??

model year differences

correct me if i'm wrong but didn't the 04 come with a 70,000/7 year warranty versus my 05 with a 36,000/3 year warranty?

I think a lot of dealers were confused about this when the Ram SRT first came out. A lot have asked this question.
So true. When I went to buy my extended warranty last week or so ago, the warranty rep asked what I wanted and when I said 7/75 powertrain, he said, why , you have 7/70 now. I had to correct him.

I should think that with 2004 being the first year of production and not many at that that they might be worth more down the road, like my 68 Roadrunner I sold for $1000 back in 70.

The SRT rams are not that hard to find. New or used. Looks like they will continue production. Would be worth ALOT more if they had only made them 1 year.

True, but there will only be one first run and we got them. :)
