I have been told by a couple of dealers that the yellow fever trucks were just deliviered to them for sale based on sales factors and other things. I was also told that the trucks are identical (except single versus quad cab) but checking out other dealers, i see some come with side curtain air bags (mine did) and others don't.

My question(s) is, did dealers order these and if not, how is it determined what extras gets put in the trucks ie; side airbags and maybe the Nav radio?

They were pretty much delivered based on sales, etc. We do alot of these beasts and I could not order any of them. We no longer have any Regular Cabs ( we got them first ), but none of ours had side air bags. With the Quad Cabs, we got most of them about a month ago, virtually sold out, and just got some more in, which will be our final allottment. We did not get to choose on any of them, nor were any entered into the system by us. Therefore, you are just a lucky camper to have side air bags, and I would imagine most are without.

Hope this helps a bit and enjoy your Mellow Yellow Beast,that is , of course, required to be driven at Fever Pitch!!

Not in the Yellow fever edition, but mine does have them.

I got em too!! My daughter hates them cause when we are on road trips I won't let her sleep with her head leaning on the window.

Go into Ebay under...Dodge Ram SRT-10. A few days ago they had atleast 5 "yellows". Each listing should have options and/or window stickers shown.
