I have not been able to see a 05 and a 06 QC in person side by side so I have been comparing pic's in adds in Auto Trader to see the real differences between the two..First question,is there any difference in color [or shades]in the interior between different exterior colors??In some of the pics for 05's the silver trucks seem to have a darker shade leather trim...almost black.Is the carpet color the same for both years? The controls for the power drivers seat look different in 06,I haven't been able find many pic's of the passenger seat controls,are they different too? Is the dash trim the same? Interior lights? Are there a few oddball trim colors differances from the factory within each year? Some trucks just look a little different,but it just might be the camera used or even my computer... Thank's for your input!

Your eye's are not deceiving you. The '04/'05 is different from the '06. The '06 was totally redone inside. The '05 is basically black. I think they called it slate but it's black. The '06 was grey. It also has a center console where the '05 does not. The '06 also has a different front end on it (headlights and grill) and a heavier chassis. In the RC the passenger seat controls are manual, not power so you may not find them in pictures. Don't know about the QC. Dash is different too (at least where the radio goes). '06 also has heated front seats.
04 & 05 interiors are almost, if not completely, the same. The 06 interiors are completely different...main diff is color and the 05 has a middle seat while the 06 has a console...

I knew the 05 HAD to be different !In too many pic's it looked darker...I like it better than the lighter color 06.. I'm going to go to the next GTG here in Florida this summer so I can see for myself..I'm really torn about which year to get/go for...The 06's are running 3-4 thousand more,that might be the deal breaker.Iv'e seen one or two NICE 05's for 20,000.00 with under 50k miles..NO 06's at that price at all. I own a nice 05 MX5 I will keep,I hate to go back to a truck payment but thats the only way for me to have one...At a SRT 10 is the best you can get,I'll never need or even want a another truck.
Now was the carpet different too? I can see why some like a 06 better and others prefer the 05..Seating for 6 in a pinch in a 05 verses's a console ect,ect,...I told my son last night that Color,year,sunroof or not, miles and condition/price mean more...I just think that ANY combination of year/color I will just love in my driveway...Even 'Flame Red'..

Both the 2005 and 2006 are great trucks, I just happen to dislike a few small things on both. All and all, both would be great to own. The 2005 has the styling of Dodge trucks that I fell in love with years ago, the 2006 is a good update.
I like the 2005 interior for the simple reason it hold 6 and the 2006 holds 5.
I like both interiors
Like the console on the 2006 better, because I would have had the option of the bigger NAV unit.
I think all the 2006's come with tonneau covers, the 2005's were a hit or miss, mostly miss on the tonneau.
There isn't much of anything else that really would have swung me one way or another
